Wheel 101

In this class, divided into two consecutive Saturdays, we will learn how to use a pottery wheel from the beginning of the process to finalizing your pieces.

Program:

DAY 1 (11:00-14:00): In this 3-hour-long session, you will have an opportunity to try your hand at wheel-throwing under my cautious guidance. We will learn how to prepare clay, and I'll show you my tricks to center it and to pull up the wall. In the end, we will practice creating simple forms.

DAY 2 (11:00-13:00): After your pieces have had enough time to get ready for the next part of the process, I will show you how to turn the foot to refine your pots.

There are only two spots per class, ensuring you will receive my full attention.

Your pieces will be glazed by me and will be ready for pick-up within a maximum of 6 weeks.

The class can be taught in English, German, or Polish, depending on your preference
